The Literary Arts - Family Day at Davenport House Museum

The Davenport House - an iconic c. 1820 property owned and operated by Historic Savannah Foundation - invites children of all ages to explore the literary arts at a special Family Day event at the award-winning house museum.

This community-focused event will celebrate literacy and feature opportunities for creative expression through reading, writing, and poetry. Enjoy a pop-up shop from local favorite The Stacks bookstore, personalized poems crafted on-site by poet Alex Wilkinson, and a hands-on alphabet embroidery sampler activity led by textile expert Victoria Crabtree.
