Visit Savannah and the Sports Council Partner with Fleet Feet, Savannah/Pooler/Bluffton on New Direction for Beloved Local Running Events

[SAVANNAH, Ga – July 17, 2024] - Visit Savannah and the Savannah Sports Council have announced the transfer of ownership of the Publix Savannah Women's Half Marathon & 5K and the Enmarket Savannah Bridge Run to Fleet Feet Savannah/Pooler/Bluffton in 2025.

"After many years of successful running events in our community, this transition marks a significant milestone for the races as the local Fleet Feet team will now oversee the management and execution of the events," said Joseph Marinelli, president and CEO of Visit Savannah. "We are confident that under the leadership of Mike Nadeau, owner and CEO of Fleet Feet's area stores, participants can expect the same quality event organization and community spirit that have made these events special."
