Visit Savannah Launches Groundbreaking Marketing Experience with the "Surprisingly Savannah" Mobile Tour
Tour vehicle to be unveiled at the 200th Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade
Savannah, GA – March 15, 2024 – Visit Savannah is thrilled to announce the launch of its groundbreaking initiative, the "Surprisingly Savannah" Mobile Tour. This fully immersive marketing endeavor promises to deliver a unique experience, showcasing the charms of Savannah to audiences across 12 cities nationwide.
The tour aims to engage with communities in each location by offering interactive experiences showcasing Savannah's rich culture, cuisine, entertainment, and beyond. Upon arrival in each tour city, the customized tour vehicle transforms into a multi-station setup featuring enjoyable activities. Attendees can sample local Savannah treats, enjoy live music, experience fun photo ops, and more. Visit Savannah team members will accompany the tour and provide a personalized touch with local insights, friendly assistance, and helpful guidance for planning future visits.

Acquired through a partnership with Old Town Trolley, the "Surprisingly Savannah" Tour vehicle dons a classic trolley frame and iconic shape. Visit Savannah will debut the vehicle at the 200th Savannah St. Patrick's Day Parade.

Additionally, Visit Savannah will partner with the Savannah Economic Development Authority, conducting workforce recruitment activities in some of the twelve cities. This approach allows the organizations to join forces to maximize their time in each market and support Savannah and Chatham County's economic vitality in multiple ways.
The "Surprisingly Savannah" Mobile Tour is free to experience and welcomes all. The tour will stop at specific locations in each city, and those dates and locations will be announced later.
