Overview of Position: 

The Brand & Video Production Manager serves as a key operational lead within the Brand & Content Strategy department. This individual will support the execution of strategic marketing efforts by managing content workflows, streamlining communication between internal teams and partners, and ensuring timely delivery of creative and owned media projects. Acting as a central connector, this role will help optimize the department's day-to-day operations.

Brands supported: Visit Savannah, Visit Tybee Island, Savannah Area Chamber of Commerce, and the Savannah Sports Council.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

Owned Media Program Development

  • Shoot & execute video as well as photo edits in-house (VSTV segments, partner ad variations, social cutdowns)

  • Assist in managing and briefing outsourced videographers or editors

  • Maintains and oversees our Digital Asset Management Library. Creating collections and gathering appropriate assets within our library for our Marketing & Communications team, as well as the entire organization. 

Project & Workflow Management

  • Build and maintain Basecamp projects and task assignments for the content and creative teams.

  • Monitor timelines, enforce deadlines, and troubleshoot delays or bottlenecks across video, design, social, and web efforts.

  • Document processes and best practices to ensure consistency across recurring initiatives.

Partner Communication & Content Fulfillment

  • Serve as a liaison to internal and external partners requesting branded content or owned media support.

  • Maintain a calendar of owned media deliverables and ensure requests align with brand standards and deadlines.

  • Support correspondence and logistics for branded partnerships, content sponsorships, and fulfillment reporting.

Cross-Departmental Collaboration

  • Collaborate with content and brand team members to align project goals, resources, and creative output.

  • Ensure brand consistency and quality control across all internal and external-facing deliverables.

  • Participate in brainstorms and departmental planning sessions to inform editorial strategy and campaign execution.

Operational Leadership

  • Provide day-to-day operational support to the Director of Brand & Content Strategy.

  • Assist in departmental reporting, data collection, and insights generation for leadership presentations.

  • Support onboarding and training documentation for departmental tools, workflows, and platforms.

Other responsibilities as assigned by the organization to support its evolving needs and goals.

Supervisory Responsibility: No direct reports. Holds project-level deadline authority and workflow oversight across content and brand contributors on assigned initiatives.

Education and Experience/Key Competencies: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, project management, or a related field.
  • 4–6 years of experience in marketing, project management, or content operations, ideally in a creative or agency-style environment.
  • Working proficiency in video and photo editing tools (e.g., Premiere Rush, CapCut, Adobe Express) for quick-turn, in-house assets.
  • Destination Marketing Organization familiarity is a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex workflows and prioritize multiple, concurrent projects.
  • Familiarity with content development and digital marketing channels including social media, video production, websites, and SEO.
  • Proficiency in project management tools such as Basecamp or similar platforms.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a high attention to detail.
  • Experience collaborating with creative teams and managing internal/external client communications.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment with shifting priorities.
  • Passion for promoting travel and tourism and commitment to brand integrity.

Work Environment:
