The goal of Savannah Jewish Maps is to counteract antisemitism. By making Jewish history visible and replacing abstract misconceptions with tangible local history, such as when Dr. Samuel Nunez saved Savannah's first settlement in 1733, we provide all citizens a deep, shared, historic connection to the Jewish community.
