Get A Taste Of Savannah At The Forsyth Farmers’ Market
Forsyth Park Farmer's Market
Founded in 2009 by six women who shared a common vision of a healthy, local food system, the Forsyth Farmers’ Market was created to provide Savannah’s community with a welcoming place to purchase local food.
Every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., the south end of Forsyth Park transforms into a bustling hub of activity, where local farmers and artisans gather to offer fresh, locally grown goods.
Whether you’re picking up ingredients for a home-cooked meal or grabbing a quick bite, the Forsyth Farmers’ Market delivers a vibrant mix of seasonal produce, prepared foods and handcrafted items—all rooted in a strong commitment to local sourcing.
Since its inception, the Forsyth Farmers Market has been unwavering in its commitment to providing high-quality, locally sourced food.
With a stringent rule requiring market vendors to produce at least 75% of the products they sell, this market ensures that customers support local farmers and artisans while enjoying the freshest, most authentic produce and goods Savannah has to offer.
At the south end of Forsyth Park, local farmers and dedicated volunteers create a lively, open-air market filled with fresh, locally grown goods. From seasonal produce, jams, jellies and farm-fresh eggs to artisan cheeses and leafy greens, the selection is as abundant as it is vibrant. Beyond the staples, you’ll find homemade popsicles, grass-fed meats, locally roasted coffee and a variety of wholesome snacks—plenty to satisfy every palate.
One of the most enchanting aspects of the Forsyth Farmers Market is its picturesque setting within Forsyth Park.
