1876: An American Centennial Celebration from Savannah to Philadelphia

See this living history celebration of the nation's centennial during this 250th anniversary of the nation's birth on Sunday, August 16. There will be costumed performers discussing how the 100th birthday was celebrated both in Savannah and Philadelphia where there was a national exposition. There will be refreshments and a chance to see inside the Green-Meldrim House, a Gothic Revival style masterpiece. Note: There will be two performances, one at 2 p.m. and one at 3:30 p.m. Seating reservations are required and can be acquired by phone or email.
