The Forsyth Farmers' Market is delighted to partner with The Y Bar Savannah, a new event space in Savannah, Ga., to encourage a Community Conversation about men, women, communication and healthy food. This event is free and open to the public.
Forsyth Farmers' Market Director of Community Building and Education Aja Embry will lead a conversation about communication barriers between men and women, highlighting the fact that food is a universal language that helps to bridge differences, has the power to bring out the best in people and can serve as a peace offering during difficult conversations.
Additional highlights include an inspiring talk by guest speaker Linton F. Hester, a licensed mental health expert and Afrocentric therapist, as well as refreshments featuring fresh, local food sourced directly from Forsyth Farmers' Market vendors.
