Join us for a powerful evening of film, conservation, and conversation with a screening of The Right Whale followed by a special panel discussion and audience Q&A featuring experts from TIMSC, The Georgia Conservancy, and the documentary's filmmakers, Cheryl and Nick Dean, hosted by the historic Tybee Post Theater.
The Right Whale takes audiences on an unforgettable cross-global journey from the sub-Antarctic calving grounds to the busy urban oceans of the northern hemisphere, offering a breathtaking look at one of the world's most endangered marine mammals.
Through stunning cinematography and groundbreaking footage, the film reveals intimate glimpses into the whales' social lives, newly documented behaviors, and the extraordinary challenges they face in an increasingly dangerous ocean environment.
Following the film is an interactive Q&A exploring whale conservation, coastal ecosystems, ongoing research efforts, and what communities can do to help protect marine life for future generations.
PAY-WHAT-YOU-WANT (PWYW) PRICING - Pay whatever you want from $5-$20. A portion of the ticket sales will go to the Right Whale Conservation.
