Hamptons Whodunit, a mystery and true crime festival, comes to Savannah November 6-8 at The Alida and Hotel Orielle.
Guests of Honor Jessica Knoll and Gregg Hurwitz headline a weekend of panels with bestselling novelists including Heather Graham, Wanda Morris, Emily Carpenter and Brendan Slocumb. They share the stage with people who have worked real cases: former NYC death investigator Barbara Butcher, Body Bags podcast host Joseph Scott Morgan, retired FBI interrogation expert Scott Duffey and former NYPD cold case commander Joe Giacalone.
Saturday brings hands-on workshops in forensic facial reconstruction with forensic artist Joe Mullins, interrogation, and courtroom testimony. There's also a Mock Crime Scene Challenge where you work the evidence yourself. Evenings include Wine & Crime, a dinner hosted by cold case investigator Sheryl "Mac" McCollum, and Trivia Night with Brendan Slocumb.
Author signings, the mock crime scene, and entry to both happy hours are free and open to the public. Tickets for everything else run $25-$250.
