10 am-5 pm: Free Admission for locals* to the Jepson Center

1-4 pm: Activities and artist demonstrations

Enjoy a back-to-school event with loads of activities inspired by Impressionism and Modernity: French and American Painting. Visitors of all ages can participate in art-making activities and see local "plein air" landscape artists at work. Try your hand at painting and become part of a "living painting" and have your photo taken in an Impressionist scene! The afternoon will also include music by harpist Kristin King and a meteorologist's tour of Impressionism and Modernity.

10 am - 1 pm: Drop-In Studio in the Education Studios

1 pm - 4 pm: Plein air landscape painters, Mike Mills and Lori Keith Robinson, will give painting demonstrations in the atrium.

1 pm - 4 pm: An "Impressionist Photo Station" will be on the 3rd Floor Landing.

2 pm - 4 pm: Harpist, Kristin King, will be playing on the 2nd Floor Landing.

2 pm: Patrick Prokop will lead a "Weather Tour" of Impressionism and Modernity in our Levitt and Varnedoe Galleries.

*Free admission all day for local residents, including Chatham, Effingham, Bryan, Liberty, Bulloch, Jasper, and Beaufort Counties. Investment provided by the City of Savannah.
