Congregation Mickve Israel invites the coastal community to the 34th annual Shalom Y'all Jewish Food Festival – held again this year in Savannah's historic Monterey Square – on Sunday, November 17th from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

This beloved event is a celebration of Jewish culture, delicious food, and community spirit…and it is open to all! Expect a mouthwatering array of Jewish delicacies, including crispy latkes (potato pancakes), comforting matzo ball soup, piled-high deli sandwiches, chicken shawarma, kugel, blintzes, and delectable sweets. This year we are also offering new plant-based and vegan options to suit modern tastes. Quench your thirst with a classic egg cream, Dr. Brown's soda, or enjoy a selection of He-Brews—beers that pair perfectly with our delectable eats.

The day will be filled with live performances, including theatre, comedy, and music. The Shofar Brigade will begin the festivities with a blast at 11:00 a.m., followed by performances by members of the Savannah Theatre and Savannah Philharmonic. A Kid Zone with activities and games will entertain the kids, and Jewish culture and humor will be interspersed to add an educational and fun component to the day.

The event is free to attend. Food tickets can be purchased at the festival or in advance after October 25th by visiting the Mickve Israel website, www.mickveisrael.org. Mark you calendar and join us for a day filled with savory food, entertainment, and community connection. The Shalom Y'all Jewish Food Festival is a celebration for everyone, a chance to experience Jewish culture and community in the heart of Savannah.
