We’re Celebrating America’s 250th Birthday—With a Head Start
On July 4, 2026, the United States turns 250, and Savannah is proudly part of that story. Founded in 1733, Georgia’s first city was already well established by the time 1776 rolled around. As communities across the country mark this historic milestone, Savannah will honor it in ways that feel true to our roots—through history, culture and meaningful moments that connect past to present. We’ll be sharing more details on how to celebrate with us, so stay tuned.

Our Flavorful Guilty Pleasure
Plain and simple, we love to eat, and there’s always somewhere new to break bread in Savannah. The list is impressive—and we can’t guarantee it won’t get longer. The Douglas boutique hotel's restaurant, Lester's - a French oyster bar, Marbled & Fin (from our friends at The Neighborhood Dining Group, who brought us Husk Savannah), Bowdie’s Chophouse taking its place at Eastern Wharf, Bull and Barrel Steakhouse expanding from Statesboro to the corner of 37th and Abercorn Street, and Paris Baguette on Broughton Street (TBD on this delicious addition).
And 2025 brought a well-rounded list of favorites we can't stop raving about, including Lucia Pasta Bar (Kyle Jacovino’s second restaurant), Veratina, Savannah Culinary Cooking School and restaurant on Bay Street, Neon Fish - Sorry Charlie's rooftop oasis, The Darling Oyster Bar, Sunday Sunday, FishBar and The Laundry Diner.
