Bull River Cruise

Grab your sense of adventure and join us for a guided exploration of Georgia's coastal rivers and sounds aboard one of our education skiffs. We will cruise down the Wilmington River and into Wassaw Sound before heading up the Bull River and into Lazaretto Creek. You'll experience the rich diversity of coastal habitats, see the oyster farms in the Bull River mariculture zone, and learn about the region's unique ecology from marine educators.

Keep an eye out for wildlife along the way, including ospreys fishing, roseate spoonbills in flight, or dolphins spy hopping. You never know what you'll encounter on the water!

Tours depart from the dock at the UGA Aquarium on Skidaway Island.

Registration is required and includes admission to the UGA Aquarium. Children ages 10 and up are welcome but must be accompanied by a registered adult.
