Architecture of the Last Colony

McDonald will present a talk on the recent publication, Architecture of the Last Colony: Georgia's Historic Places, 1733–2000, which he edited. It is a survey of the most significant extant structures in the state. Buildings chosen for inclusion showcase successful historic preservation practices and techniques. As the former CEO of the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, McDonald was in a unique position to determine the book's content. Following the presentation, attendees with have an opportunity to meet McDonald and get a signed copy of the book.
