The stories of the Savannah Women of Vision are brought to life in Etched in History, an original SCAD film narrated by celebrated actor Phylicia Rashad. Evoking the honorees' unapologetic strength and grace, Etched in History unites us all in imagining an inclusive future in which our women leaders freely thrive in glory and acclaim. Envisioned by SCAD President and Founder Paula Wallace, the Savannah Women of Vision investiture is bestowed on accomplished women of peerless valor, altruism, and intellect who have made an invaluable impact in the Savannah community and across the U.S. Commissioned portraits commemorate this elite cadre of women whose remarkable ideas, insightful leadership, and distinguished service weave a legacy that forms the fabric of our community.
SCAD invites Savannah community members to a screening of Etched in History and a special opportunity to view the gilded portraits that honor the Savannah Women of Vision in the university's Arnold Hall.
This event is free and open to the public. RSVP to Andreia Wardlaw at [email protected].
