The Artisan Spotlight Series offers immersive, creative workshops and provides a dynamic platform for artists and artisans to share their creative processes with local residents and visitors.
This January, discover the art of mosaic making and create vibrant, one-of-a-kind pieces using an assortment of colorful glass and tile. Local artist Laura Lingle, who has been designing and selling eye-catching mosaics for more than 15 years, will lead a hands-on workshop that is perfect for beginners and seasoned creatives alike. Laura's expert instruction and approachable teaching style will create the perfect environment to experiment, play, and create. Participants will complete their mosaic layout during the workshop and take home all of the necessary materials and instructions needed to grout their artwork at their own pace.
All tools and materials will be provided. No experience is necessary to participate in Historic Savannah Foundation's Artisan Spotlight Series workshops. Space is limited, and advance registration is required.
