Join Forsyth Farmers' Market and Fruitful Futures for the inaugural Savannah Urban Agriculture Festival!
Two Savannah-based 501(c)3 nonprofits Forsyth Farmers' Market and Fruitful Futures are joining forces to host the inaugural Savannah Urban Agriculture Festival at the Forsyth Farmers' Market in Forsyth Park. This event is free and open to the public.
Event highlights include free educational workshops focusing on composting, beekeeping, permaculture, mycology, foraging and native plants as well as free youth programming, a Community Garden Registry and a Community Resource Area. The educational workshops will focus on empowering local community members with the skills, knowledge and resources to create a culture of food sovereignty in coastal Georgia.
