The Davenport House - an iconic c. 1820 property owned and operated by Historic Savannah Foundation - will host a free Family Day event at the award-winning house museum, located at 324 E. State St. on Columbia Square in Savannah's Landmark District.

This event, which is presented with sponsorship support from the City of Savannah, will focus on early Savannah's Historic Trades, offering creative activities and hands-on learning opportunities for adults and children of all ages.

The Family Day at the Davenport House will feature hands-on craft stations, including embroidery, leatherwork, and historic printmaking, as well as live woodturning demonstrations. As attendees explore the museum grounds, they'll encounter artisans, music, and engaging activities that bring the working world of the past to life.

This event is free and open to the public.
