Classics for the Crown

Mozart's Coronation Mass was the preferred setting of the Mass for imperial events for more than a century, including for the coronation of the Holy Roman Emperor in 1792. Haydn's Te Deum in C was commissioned by the Empress of Austria in 1799. Hear these works performed by the Cathedral Choir, soloists, and chamber orchestra. The evening will include an organ concerto by Haydn, performed by Monica Dekle.
