Comic Currents Sequential Art Convention/Family Day

Comic Currents, a one-day mini comic-con organized by Neighborhood Comics and Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum, will give locals and visitors a chance to meet dozens of comic book creators from across the Southeast. Attendees are invited to dress up for this family-friendly event and see firsthand how Savannah is a center point in the sequential arts scene.

Plus, guests of all ages are invited to explore "Drawn to the Sea: Maritime Stories From Savannah," an exciting new sequential art exhibition and comic book featuring nautical-inspired, mixed-media art by four contemporary artists. The exhibit showcases original art designed to interpret the historic voyages of the iconic Savannah ships Anne, SS Savannah, Pulaski, and Wanderer.
