Celebrate the spirit of Easter within the hallowed sanctuary of Bonaventure Cemetery. On this morning of renewal, we invite you to wander beneath the cathedral-like canopy of ancient live oaks and swaying Spanish moss for a guided walking tour that explores the profound beauty of life, legacy, and the promise of what lies beyond.

Bonaventure is never more breathtaking than on Easter Sunday. As Savannah's iconic spring blooms reach their peak, our two-hour journey will focus on the rich spiritual symbolism found throughout the grounds—from the ascending angels and blooming lilies to the Victorian funeral art that speaks of transition and peace.

Gathering Point

We will gather at the Star of David Columns inside the Jewish Entrance. This peaceful meeting spot is located between the Main Office and the Restrooms.

Parking: On-site parking is available throughout the cemetery.

A Note for Your Visit

To maintain the serenity of the holiday and ensure your comfort:

Arrival: Please plan to arrive 10-15 minutes early to check in with your guide at the Star of David columns.

Attire: We recommend comfortable walking shoes suitable for the cemetery's natural terrain.
