1. What time will road closures begin? 

Road closures will start as early as 6:30 a.m. the morning of the parade on March 16.

2. What time does the parade start? 

The parade starts on Saturday, March 16 at 10:15 a.m. beginning at the intersection of Gwinnett and Abercorn Street.

3. Where should I park? 

Walking is always encouraged if you can, but street parking will be available. Please be mindful of the road closures.

4. Am I allowed to attend the St. Patrick's Day Mass at the cathedral?

Of course, all are welcome!

5. What should I bring with me to the parade?

 Bring a chair, water and snacks if you'd like! You can also enjoy bleacher seating with Kelly Tours. Bleacher seating will be located by Colonial Park Cemetery ($40), Cathedral Basilica of St. John ($55) and on Bay Street ($40). 

6. Is the parade family-friendly?

Absolutely!

7. Do you have to pay to see the parade?

Nope, your smile is more than enough.

8. How long is the parade?

It's a four-hour Irish extravaganza!

9. Can I book a mobile tour before, during or after the parade? 

On Saturday, March 16, Mobile Tours will be prohibited from operating during the St. Patrick's Day Parade. This includes various modes of transportation such as cars, buses, bikes and even walking tours. However, walking tours may resume after the parade has ended.

Make sure to confirm the Saturday schedule and any special holiday hours for each museum or historic home. You can also find additional business holiday hours here.

10. Will certain streets and squares be closed?

Streets and squares will be closed based on the discretion of the Savannah Police Department, and we cannot guarantee open access for normal routes. Please note that route changes or boundary adjustments will not be permitted.

11. What should I wear? 

You want to get pinched, don't you? ?

12. Are there any leprechauns in Savannah? 

Unfortunately, no. But if you're lucky, you might spot a few impersonators.

13. What can I expect from the St. Patrick's Day Parade?
