In this concert, we welcome back to SMF the renowned Escher String Quartet, who have delighted audiences on many recent occasions since their October 2021 debut.

In the first half, they perform Verdi's alluring String Quartet (never performed at SMF previously), and in the second half, together with Mr. & Mrs. Thomas V. and Susan G. Reilly, Associate Artistic Director Philip Dukes, they perform the great D Major Viola Quintet by Mozart - a real gem of a work and considered to be his finest Viola Quintet.
