A Walk of Reflection: Palm Sunday at Bonaventure
Presented by Bonaventure Cemetery Tours®
Step into the serene "City of the Dead" this Palm Sunday for a journey that transcends time. Beneath the canopy of ancient live oaks and swaying Spanish moss, we invite you to experience Bonaventure Cemetery through a lens of peace, history, and spiritual legacy.
March in Savannah brings a unique grace to these hallowed grounds. As the azaleas bloom, join us for a two-hour guided walk that honors the lives, the art, and the enduring spirits etched into the Victorian landscape. This is more than a history lesson; it is a morning or afternoon of quiet contemplation and breathtaking beauty.
Gathering Point
Our journey begins at a place of profound significance: Inside the Jewish Entrance at the Star of David Columns. You will find these positioned between the Main Office and the Restrooms.
Parking: Complimentary parking is available on-site within the cemetery grounds.
Preparing for Your Journey
To ensure your experience is as peaceful as possible, please keep the following in mind:
Arrival: We recommend arriving at the Star of David columns 10-15 minutes early to check in with your guide and settle into the atmosphere.
Attire: Please wear comfortable walking shoes suited for gravel and grass paths.
Essentials: We encourage you to bring water and your camera to capture the ethereal light and spirit of the grounds. Bring bug spray!
