Art, Conversation & Creative Play: An Evening with Rob Strati

Ships of the Sea Maritime Museum—an acclaimed museum dedicated to celebrating and preserving America's maritime legacy—is pleased to host a special evening featuring artist Rob Strati in conversation with Ships of the Sea Executive Director Molly Carrott Taylor and Curator Tania Sammons. Attendees will also have the opportunity to participate in a hands-on workshop that mirrors the creation process behind the museum's new art exhibit "Beyond the Plate: Sea and Sky," which features Rob Strati's nautical-inspired, mixed-media art.

Throughout the interactive workshop, guests will tear, trade, and transform patterned paper into their own one-of-a-kind collage. All materials are provided. No art experience is necessary—just a sense of curiosity. Light snacks and drinks will be served.
