Part-Time Retail Sales Associate

The Gift Shop at the Savannah Visitor Center, located at 301 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., is looking for an experienced retail sales associate to fulfill a part-time sales associate role (15-25 hours per week). Candidates must be able to work at least two weekends each month and holidays.  The shop is closed Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

Main responsibilities include:

• Provide customers with excellent service and a positive experience
• Actively promote retail sales in the shop
• Data entry, restocking, inventory, routine cleaning, etc.

Required Qualifications:

• Retail experience 
• Experience working with computer systems/POS systems 
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Minimum education – high school graduate or GED
• Ability to work as part of a team and interact effectively with others

Preferred Qualifications:

• Candidates with experience in Savannah tourism

A background check and drug test are required.
