Davenport House Museum Behind-the-Scenes Experience

The Davenport House Museum, a treasured Historic Savannah Foundation property that served as the birthplace of Savannah's modern-day preservation movement, will welcome guests to unlock the secrets of the Isaiah Davenport House with an exclusive Behind-the-Scenes Experience led by the museum's Curator and Director of Operations Jeff Freeman.

Jeff Freeman, a historian who has worked at the Davenport House Museum for 18 years, will share captivating stories and hidden histories behind the museum's most fascinating objects. He will guide guests on an intimate journey through the museum's collections and offer a rare glimpse at artifacts that are not usually on public display.

Offered for one night only, these special tours will educate attendees about the meticulous care, preservation efforts and intriguing narratives tied to each 19th-century artifact. The Behind the Scenes Experience: Curator's Tales with Jeff Freeman includes an intimate one-hour tour and light refreshments.
