Artist Talk: Davion Alston in the ON - View Residency

Join us for an Artist Talk with June + July ON::View Artist-in-Residence Davion Alston! Davion is a visual artist, educator, and critic based between Atlanta, GA, New Haven, CT, and Brooklyn, NY. He describes his work as a constant flow of doing and undoing; thematically informed by his personal upbringing, and out of the desire to know where his genealogical lineage comes from. The language for his artistic process rests at the intersections of visibility, endurance, stillness, memory, displacement, and connectivity; usually blurring and redefining his relationship between photography, sculpture, and installation.
