Day One


Get to know Savannah by experiencing a city tour, either on a period-style trolley or with a highly trained step-on guide. The tours last about 2 hours and will help you get better acquainted with our beautiful city.


Go behind the scenes with your group and see Savannah’s local foodies at work. Savannah Bee Company, The Salt Table and Byrd Cookie Company are just a few of the establishments where you can get both a tour and a taste.


There are lots of options for a delicious Southern meal in Savannah, but there’s only one place to find ice cream made from original recipes for a hundred years! Leopold’s Ice Cream was opened in 1919 and still makes some of the shop’s bestselling flavors from that bygone era the same way right here in Savannah’s National Landmark Historic District. Try Lemon Custard, Rum Bisque, Tutti Frutti and more, only available in Savannah.


At the American Prohibition Museum, you will take a journey through the institution and repeal of the 18th Amendment, complete with more than 200 original artifacts. You will be immersed in the history as they take photos with Al Capone, dance the Charleston (a favorite of the flappers), and feel the weight of a Tommy gun. You can even take a cocktail class in the museum’s authentic speakeasy to learn how to make libations from recipes of the period!

Day 02


It’s never too early in the day to put a little South in your mouth, and Chef Darin won’t disappoint. Whether it be scientific, historical, cultural, or just sentimental, every recipe has a story to tell and something to teach when you learn to “Cook Between the Lines!” At the 700 Kitchen Cooking School you’ll explore the world through ingredients, guided by Executive Chef Jason Winn. You’ll perfect your knife skills, learn to grill, cook the perfect pasta, conquer seafood, and plate beautiful desserts. Chef Winn will share a different side of food and wine in a way that changes your perspective, dish by artful dish


Let the Savannah Riverboat show you what Southern hospitality is all about during their daily luncheon and dinner cruises! Come ready to relax and feast on a delicious traditional-style buffet all while cruising along the sparkling Savannah River and listening to the captain’s intriguing tales and historic facts.


Savannah has several distilleries and breweries where you’re invited to taste the brews and learn about the production of some of the finest spirits in the South. Veteran-owned Service Brewing Co. celebrates the many ways in which people serve their community with four year-round beers, four seasonal brews, and an array of small-batch brews and anniversary ales. Add a bit of boo to your booze at Moon River Brewing Company. This rumored haunt is known for brewing some of the most delicious local craft brew for more than 20 years in Savannah.


Wrap up your evening with a sweet treat, like a freshly made praline from River Street Sweets or a slice of rich, creamy fudge at Savannah’s Candy Kitchen! At each location, every confection is made and packaged with care to ensure maximum freshness. Your guests will be nostalgic for yesteryear when they discover barrels of old-fashioned candies and walls lined with beautifully wrapped boxes of Low Country saltwater taffy and other treats. Make sure to save some space in your suitcase!

Day 03


Sample delicious local foods with one of several leisurely paced culinary walking tours. You’ll not only be treated to sit-down service at some of Savannah’s best-loved restaurants, you’ll learn more of our history along the way.


The Gryphon Tea Room is a quiet and quaint tearoom and is the ultimate tea party destination for any expert tea drinker. You’ll be surrounded by mahogany bookcases and stained glass while being served fragrant teas from proper kettles. There are plenty of snack options for sharing – like teacakes, fresh biscuits and tasty finger sandwiches.


After your tea time, travel to nearby Tybee Island, Savannah’s beach community, to savor some of the flavors of coastal Georgia. The Crab Shack at Chimney Creek has been serving up platters of Low Country boil, a Savannah favorite made up of fresh shrimp, clams, crawfish and crab boiled together in Old Bay with potatoes, smoked sausage and corn, since 1983. This former fish camp and marina is known for its super-casual atmosphere, live gator lagoon, and roaming pet cats, and your group won’t want to miss the chance to take a photo under the giant crab sign!


Before heading back to the mainland, stop for a cocktail and a satisfying meal inspired by Australian, coastal Mexico and Hawaiian influences at The Deck Beachbar and Kitchen,Tybee Island's only oceanfront restaurant. This serene, laid-back establishment admires the ocean daily and bids farewell to the sunset every evening. Your guests can gather on the outdoor deck with a drink in hand to toast another perfect day in Savannah and on Tybee Island.
